An Overview of your Role
To support the branch head in soliciting new business and in the recruitment, development, and management of agents. To manage and maintain existing accounts and efficient service to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accounts Servicing and Business Solicitation. Maintain and strengthens relationship with existing accounts/new intermediaries and develops new business from prospective clients.
- Agent Development. Conducts orientation and/or coordinates the training programs of new agents with the concerned head office departments.
- Underwriting. Evaluates requests for proposals to determine insurability, risks and premiums, and recommends appropriate action to the Branch Head.
- Policy Issuance. Facilitates proposal and policy issuance. Reviews, approves, and signs all policies, renewal certificates, and endorsements within authority limit.
- Claims Processing. Processes claims in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Coordinates with branch superiors and/or Head Office all claims that are beyond authority.
- Others. Renewals, Collections.
A Bit About You
- Graduate of any bachelor's degree course
- At least 3-4 years of experience in Insurance Underwriting/Claims Processing, 2 years of which is in supervisory capacity
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word & Excel)
