ACCOUNT OFFICER - (Life, HMO/Medical, Personal Accident Insurance)
- OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Officer will handle clients under the Employee Benefits Team. He/She will be responsible for the request for proposal, renewal negotiations, day-to-day administration, and account management of the various HMO / Medical, Group Life, Group Personal Accident policies.
Act as liaison between insurance providers, clients, resources, and other internal and external constituents. Ensures that After-sales services and commitment like ID cards, billing statements, annual physical exams, executive check-ups, letters of authorization, etc.- Coordinate Benefit Orientation with the Insurance Company and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the presentation material.
Coordinate and recommend wellness programs that will be beneficial to the Clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with Clients to ensure that all concerns are being attended.
Administer marketing and renewal functions including employee communications, orientation, and meetings.- Ensure that all agreements, meetings, and commitments are properly documented.
Upload the necessary and required documents in CRM and client folder
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and principals/insurers through frequent and effective communication, resolving their issues efficiently and on time.
Coordinate with the Team Leader / Account Manager / Head of Employee Benefits to properly monitor expiring policies, handle new and renewal businesses, and review policy agreements.- Review existing policies and recommend possible enhancements that will be beneficial for the company
Ensures timely renewal of all existing accounts.
- Escalate to higher management and all accounts with complex issues that need special attention and resolution.
Coordinate with Finance Group on collecting premium payments from clients within the 30-day time frame from the effective date of the policies.- Handles new business opportunities/referrals that the Team will assign.
Handles additional tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
- MUST HAVE at least 2 years of relevant work experience in marketing and account management in the medical, health, life insurance industry.
Special Skills:
Strong Communication Skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
Internal: Management and staff of the Company
External: Principals, clients
- The compensation package shall be commensurate with the work experience of the applicant.
