Job Description

To deliver and grow volume and yield targets for the company
  • To secure new accounts and build lasting relationship with customers
To improve CDEC's presence in strategic markets or business segments

Principal Accountabilities (The main areas in which this job must get results in order to achieve its purpose/ accountabilities of the job holder)

Business and Product Development

Initiate Concept for Accounts Developmental Product Proposal to the Sales Manager/CEO to broaden CDEC reach
Understand overall business of the customer to be able to come across other business opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell other CDEC Products and grow share of wallet
Represent CDEC professionally to stakeholders in view broadening CDEC's reach or network and that CDEC is able to penetrate into new markets or segments.
Participate in Marketing activities of the company (e.g. internal and external Events, inputs for Collaterals)

Service Delivery
Implement established sales processes (e.g. Sales Pipeline, Marketing Plan, Sales Reports etc).
Defend and grow CDEC Market Share and Position by ensuring continuous flow of New/ Revived Customers
Active client visitation and use of other channels to ensure landing/ closing of new businesses. Ensures increased share of wallet per client (i.e. where potential permits, maximize the product line being utilized per customer by continuously upselling or cross-selling CDEC Services.
Establish good relationship with customer, which includes assistance to overall business cycle of the client to ensure continuous repeat and expanded business.
Responsible for funnelling back to the organisation and in providing internal feedback such as:

valuable market intelligence information regarding the trade and logistics
account management concerns (e.g. Finance, Customer Support)
the technical team with needed system enhancement as requested by clients, upon approval from sales manager/CEO
Responsible in creating and reviewing pricing schemes for new and active clients in view of ensuring profitability of the company.
Perform other Sales and Marketing Related tasks as may be assigned by the Sales Manager and Executive Management.
