Job Description:
An Account Account Handler is responsible for managing an online store, selling products or services on the internet. The primary role of an E-commerce Merchant is to ensure the online store is optimized for maximum sales and profitability. - Product management: An E-commerce Merchant is responsible for managing the inventory of products, selecting the right products to sell online, and determining the pricing strategy for those products.
Account management: An E-commerce Merchant must manage the online account, including ensuring that the website is visually appealing and easy to navigate. They must also ensure the online shop is optimized for search engine rankings and conversions.- Marketing and advertising: An E-commerce Merchant is responsible for developing and executing marketing and advertising strategies to increase online shop account/s traffic and sales. This includes using E-commerce platforms.
Analytics and reporting: An E-commerce Merchant must analyze online shop account/s performance data to determine the success of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement. They must also provide regular reports to management on online shop account/s performance and sales metrics.
- Overall, the E-commerce Merchant's primary goal is to increase online sales and profitability by managing the online store effectively and implementing effective marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce or related field
Experience working in e-commerce, retail, or digital marketing
- Familiarity with online platforms such as Shopee, Lazada and Tiktok
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience managing budgets and forecasting sales- Knowledge of online marketing tactics such as email marketing, and social media
Knowledge of online payment processing and security protocols
- Understanding of customer behavior and trends in the e-commerce industry
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment- Experience with inventory management, logistics, and fulfillment
Familiarity with digital content creation and management, such as product descriptions, images, and videos. (with coordination to Graphics Artists)
