We are seeking a motivated and experienced Marketplace Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing marketplace operations, particularly on platforms like Target+ or Walmart. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce marketplace dynamics and a proven track record in optimizing product visibility, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on Target+ or Walmart marketplace platforms, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices
- Optimize product listings for maximum visibility and conversion, including content optimization, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, such as sales trends, traffic data, and customer reviews, to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, inventory, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of marketplace strategies and initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to increase product discoverability, enhance brand presence, and drive sales growth on marketplace platforms
- Stay updated on marketplace trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to proactively adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Manage relationships with marketplace representatives and third-party vendors to resolve issues promptly and optimize partnerships
- Provide regular reports and insights on marketplace performance, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement
Tools to use
- Experience with managing Target+ and Walmart marketplaces
- Knowledge in using Faire Platform
- Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar for performance tracking and data analysis
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management, with a focus on platforms like Target+ or Walmart
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through marketplace channels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
