- WHAT IS AN EDI SUPPORT ANALYST
Our awesome client, a leading retail company based in Australia is looking for an EDI Support Analyst to be part of their dynamic team.
The primary purpose of this role is to apply deep technical knowledge and skills to maintain and enhance our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and provide excellent service levels in order to support the business in the achievement of its strategy and objectives.
Providing excellent service levels to the company's Merchandise, Planning and Omnichannel teams to support them in resolving any Vendor queries and/or issues and fulfilling any service requests.
- Responsible for ensuring any new vendors receive an excellent onboarding experience.
Providing excellent service levels and maintaining a collaborative relationship with our vendors for any inbound or outbound EDI messaging queries or issues.- Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the company's EDI partner SPS Commerce.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.- Experience in development or support of Oracle (database, SQL and PL/SQL), DB2 (database or scripting), UNIX scripting and XML.
Familiarity/experience with EDI (in particular SPS Commerce), warehousing and IT systems and processes will be highly desired.
- Familiarity/experience with Automic Schedular or have an experience with Job schedular tools.
Strong documentation and communication skills, ability to convey complex technical and business requirements.- Experience working within similar corporate / retail environments, partnering with Technology team and the business to achieve business outcomes and optimise customer / end user experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with business analysis and requirements gathering (either functional or technical) and software testing and/or defect tracking and testing tools will be beneficial.
