The Philippines witnessed an 18% year-on-year annual boost in online recruitment activity between August 2017 and 2018, according to the latest Monster Employment Index (MEI).
Most industries recorded double-digit growth and were led by Retail with a 40% lift and Healthcare with a 33% increase year-on-year, respectively.
BPO/ITES did not witness any growth from last year and Education also failed to impress with its 3% year-on-year decline.
In terms of occupations, Purchase/Logistics/Supply Chain professionals were most in-demand and saw a 38% growth, whereas Customer Service jobs saw a decline of 1%.
